A- Standard Products

Structured Products are financial investments that usually have a variable remuneration, which depends on the performance of other assets, called underlying assets.

Structured Products may combine multiple classes of assets to present a final structure that allows you to protect (totally, partially or conditionally) your investment and the potential gains of the underlying assets.

Usually issued as Bonds, these allow you to indirectly invest in financial assets and markets, where you would find it difficult to gain direct access to invest.

Millennium private banking's offer in terms of Structured Products is updated regularly, so as to adjust the product selection to the financial markets dynamics, adapting them to the specific needs of the various portfolios and investment profiles.

These products incorporate investment strategies that are aligned at all moments with the Bank's overview of the financial markets, seeking to diversify the market, geographic and sector risks.

We seek diversified investment alternatives, taking into account:

1. Maturity:

- short-term (3-4 months),
- medium-term (1 - 2 years) and
- long-term (more than 3 years)

products, these may include early redemption conditions (automated, if certain premises previously defined or chosen by the issuer are met);

 

2. Investment Goals:

  • Profitability - products that aim to regularly pay a potential yield above average market rates;
  • Profitability / Capital Valuation - products that aim to regularly pay a potential yield substantially above average market rates or that include the possibility of holding a stake in the underlying asset's final valuation;
  • Capital Valuation - products that aim to give the investor the possibility of holding a stake in the underlying asset's final valuation.

 

3. Capital risk levels

Products

  • with guaranteed capital on maturity,
  • with limited capital loss
    or
  • with capital at risk;

4. Profitability risk levels:

Products

  • with minimum yield guaranteed
    or
  • without guaranteed yield;

Within this context, the product range constantly seeks to provide a diversified exposure of the portfolio to the various classes of underlying assets:

Bonds - e.g., products indexed to interest rates or credit derivatives;
Equities - e.g., products indexed to individual shares, stock baskets or stock indexes;
Alternatives - e.g., products indexed to commodities derivatives (individually or indexes) or to the 

 

B - Custom Products

In addition to the standard products, Millennium private banking can also issue tailored structured products, adjusting the product's features to your needs and risk profile.

This product would be meant solely for you if you choose to request its creation, and it can only be issued against a minimum amount invested.

Follow-up reports
Millennium private banking provides regular information on all the products issued that have not yet reached maturity, through a follow-up report that describes the current status of the products, the evolution of the underlying assets and the impact on the investment's expected conditions.
